Terms of Use
Last updated: 4 October 2026.
1. Acceptance
By using ManyChanger you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Who can use ManyChanger
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, to create an account. Browsing the site and comparing rates does not require an account.
3. What ManyChanger is — and what it is not
ManyChanger is a free information directory built by its community. We are not a currency exchange provider, broker, agent or financial adviser, we take no part in any transaction between you and an exchange house, and we receive no commission from them. Listing an exchange house does not mean that we have checked, approved, recommended or endorse it. Nothing on the site is financial advice.
4. Information is not guaranteed
Rates, addresses, opening hours, phone numbers, photos and all other details are submitted by users or come from public sources, and may be outdated, incomplete or wrong. The market rate comes from third-party data providers and is for reference only. Always confirm the rate, the fees and the final amount directly with the exchange house before you hand over any money.
5. Ratings and reviews are opinions
Scores such as "trust" and "area safety" and all comments are the personal, subjective opinions of individual users about their own experience. They are not assessments, inspections or certifications by ManyChanger, they are not a guarantee that a business is honest or that an area is safe, and conditions can change at any time. We do not check reviews before they are published.
6. How listings are ordered
Lists are sorted automatically according to the option you choose (distance, submitted rate or average user scores) or alphabetically. No business pays to appear or to rank higher. A position in a list or a colour indicator is not a recommendation.
7. Your safety and your decisions
Whether to use an exchange house, and how, is entirely your decision and your responsibility. Currency exchange scams exist (sleight of hand when counting, hidden fees, "no commission" tricks, counterfeit notes). Count your money in front of the cashier before leaving the counter, ask for a receipt, be wary of rates that look too good and avoid carrying large amounts. If you are the victim of a scam or a crime, contact the local police and tell us through the Report button. ManyChanger is not responsible for the acts, omissions, prices, products or conduct of any exchange house or other third party.
8. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure, and you are responsible for the activity under your account. One account per person. You can delete your account at any time from your profile.
9. Content you submit
When you add an exchange house, submit a rate, upload a photo or post a rating or comment, you confirm that it is true and based on your own experience, that you have the right to share it, and you grant ManyChanger a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to display it on the service. You alone are responsible for what you publish. Do not submit false, defamatory, abusive or illegal content, do not impersonate anyone, and do not upload photos with personal documents or identifiable people without their consent.
10. Prohibited use
You must not publish fake reviews or rates; review a business you own, work for or compete with; use several accounts or automated means to manipulate ratings, rates or points; scrape data; send spam; try to get around our anti-abuse measures or security; or use the service for any unlawful purpose.
11. Reporting content
Anyone can report an exchange house, review or photo with the Report button, or by writing to [email protected]. Tell us what the content is, where it appears and why you think it is illegal, false or against these terms. We review reports diligently and may remove or hide the content. If we do, we will tell the person who posted it why, whenever we have a way to contact them. Businesses listed on ManyChanger can use the same channel to correct their information or respond to reviews. We do not review all content before it is published and have no general obligation to monitor it.
12. Moderation and automatic limits
We may remove, hide or edit content, and suspend or close accounts, when content appears fraudulent, abusive, inaccurate or contrary to these terms. To keep the data reliable, automatic systems limit the number of contributions per account and per day, and may hide contributions that look abnormal (for example, a rate far from what other users report). Hidden contributions do not count towards points. If you think a decision is a mistake, contact us.
13. Third-party services
ManyChanger links to third-party services such as Google Maps and Waze for directions, and uses services such as OpenStreetMap to display maps and search addresses. They are operated independently under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control them and are not responsible for their accuracy, availability or content.
14. Intellectual property
The ManyChanger name and logo, and the site's own design, code and compilation of data, belong to ManyChanger or its licensors. Each piece of content submitted by users remains the property of its author under the licence in section 9. You may not copy, reproduce or create derivative works from the site without our permission.
15. Copyright complaints
If you believe that content on ManyChanger (for example, a photo) infringes your copyright, use the Report button or write to [email protected] describing the work, where it appears and your contact details. We will review it and remove infringing content where appropriate.
16. Personal data
We process personal data as explained in our Privacy Policy. In short: we only collect what we need to run the service (your account, what you contribute and basic usage data); we never sell it; your email is never shown publicly, while your display name, photo and contributions are. You can access, correct or delete your data at any time — you can delete your account yourself from your profile — and you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or the authority of your country.
17. No warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
18. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ManyChanger and the people behind it are not liable for: (a) any loss arising from a transaction with, or a visit to, an exchange house or other business found on the site; (b) scams, theft, fraud, counterfeit money, injury or damage caused by third parties; (c) decisions made in reliance on rates, ratings, reviews, locations or any other information on the site; (d) content posted by users; or (e) indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of profit or loss of data. Because the service is free, our total liability to you for all claims is limited to fifty euros (€50). Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
19. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold ManyChanger harmless from claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, the content you submit or your breach of these terms.
20. Availability and changes to the service
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service, or remove any listing, at any time and without notice. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available or free of errors.
21. Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your access if you breach these terms or misuse the service. Sections that by their nature should continue to apply (warranties, limitation of liability, indemnification) remain in force afterwards.
22. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence.
23. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will show the date of the latest version at the top. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the updated terms.
24. General
If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the rest remain in force. Not enforcing a right does not mean waiving it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and ManyChanger regarding the service.
